I have no idea what a real branded fashion show entails behind the scenes, I’ve only gone to a small scale Harajuku catwalk before, but I think it would be an absolute dream come true to be able to join in. There’s quite a few recordings of the various fashion shows on YouTube that I highly suggest, and YouTuber, Pixielocks has vlogged her experience.
I have no idea how they will base picking the participants from the submission pool. Will it be followed count? They did ask for a social media. If so, I’m probably screwed hehe! Maybe it’s brand loyalty? I love and adore 6% DOKIDOKI and have some of their pieces. Not many, because the brand is fairly pricy, but they are some of my favourite pieces in my wardrobe.
Maybe they are picking people based on community achievements? And Prior fashion walk experience? If that’s the case, I may not be a good candidate as I have only just dived deeper into the Jfashion community, however I feel quite dedicated to my newly found hobby.
For the submission I had to include a full body picture of myself in my chosen outfit. I included all my 6doki pieces and also uploaded my measurements in case they wanted me to wear even more from the brand as they do supply the models. I wonder if there will be any participation gifts..? Hehe.
I was a little sad to get all dressed up with no where to go, but I had a fun time hanging out with my boyfriend.
